Is this a real IQ test?
No. The IQ style challenge is a nonverbal reasoning puzzle set. It reports how many puzzles you solved, not an IQ number, and it is not a standardized assessment.
Can these tests detect colour blindness or hearing loss?
No. The colour, hearing and visual challenges are informal and uncalibrated. Screens, headphones and rooms vary too much. If you have concerns, see a qualified professional.
Do I need an account?
No. Every test works without one. A free account saves your results to your account, and is needed to buy Premium so it works on every device.
How do I sign in?
Enter your email and we send you a 6-digit code. There is no password. The same email works on our other ChowChow Labs sites, but each site keeps its own data.
What does Premium cost?
CA$6.99 once for lifetime access, or CA$2.99 a month. Both include every Premium feature, and Premium removes the ads. Payments are handled by Paddle.
Why is my reaction time different on my phone?
Every device adds its own delay between the screen, your touch and the browser. We label timing results as device-dependent and do not compare touch and keyboard results directly.
What happens if I switch tabs during a test?
Timed trials cannot be paused. If you leave the tab, that trial is invalidated and replaced, within a limit.
Where are my results stored?
Always in this browser. When you are signed in, they are also saved to your account. Premium shows your full history from every device. You can clear a test's history on its History tab, or delete your account on the Account page.
